Cams Art took a big step toward being voted ‘Horse of the Meet’ romping to a 1:50 victory in the $32,5000 Delaware Special on a Spring-like Monday at Dover Downs

. Dinas Gamble romped to a 1:50.3 victory in an $18,500 Winners-Over Male pace.

With chief contender Solano scratched, David Miller took Cams Art right to the front and set all the fractions on the way to his ninth win of the meet in 11 races for breeders and owners Morgan and Jeanne McInnis. The 1:50 clocking was a lifetime best for the Delaware-bred son of Cams Fortune-My Foolish Art. Charger (Corey Callahan) got away second and remained there the rest of the mile. Frog Juice (Toby Lynch) came on to take third .

Jim Morand left with Dinas Gamble to get the lead and then never looked back recording a lifetime record of 1:50.3 to win an $18,500 sub-feature. Louie Paglierani and Legacy Racing Of DE own the Tune Town –Webb gelding. Wayne Givens trains the winner of four races this year. Mccabe Hall (Ron Pierce) was strong in the stretch finishing second to end a two-race winning streak. Blissfull Silence (Roger Plante) was third.
