Cullen Achieves $20 Million In Career Earnings

Travis Cullen solidified his monetary driving earnings milestone of $20 million banked with a win in the finale, the top class on Tuesday evening (April 2) at The Raceway at Western Fair District. Pushing $3,651 past the milestone mark, Cullen piloted Exotic Dragon to victory in the featured $10,500 conditioned claiming pace.

Travis Cullen and the Jodie Cullen student left from the gate, accepting the pocket trip behind Major League N (Ed Hensley). After panels in :27.4, :57.4 and 1:26.4, Exotic Dragon braved the direct attack on the leader. He pushed past to win by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:57.1 over Major League N. Premier Delight (Jeff Hunt) took third.

Paul Sanders, Travis Cullen and Ronald Cullen co-own the six-year-old Custard The Dragon-Accentuate mare, who earned her sixth win in 11 starts this year and 34th career victory from 108 starts. She has banked $346,093 in her career. As the bettors' choice, Exotic Dragon returned $3.80 to win.

Driving since 2010, Travis Cullen hit the right notes all Tuesday evening to achieve the $20 million milestone as a driver. The Dundas, Ont. resident has career victories that tally 2,394. His career best season by wins (329) came in 2022 while his career best season by earnings ($3,271,179) occurred in 2023.
