Cisco Hall scored his second win of the season and a new lifetime mark of 1:55.2 in the first leg first division of the $20,000 'Trots and Slots' late-closer series Monday night at Pompano Park.

Driver Richard Simard and Cisco Hall took full advantage of the early lead when favourite Tweedle Dum made a costly break leaving from post four. Simard took the field of top trotters through fractions of :28.2, :58, and 1:26.2.

As they trotted down the homestretch Bruce Ranger and Too Salty challenged Cisco Hall but was unable to get by and had to take the second spot with Indian Hill Rocket finishing third.

Cisco Hall, a seven-year-old son of Conway Hall, has now bankrolled over $277,000 for trainer Bill Gallagher and owner Joe Chnapko of Livingston, New Jersey.

Dave Ingraham and Slave Dream captured the second division of the $20,000 'Trots and Slot's' in 1:55.4.

O Georgie took the field of trotters through fractions of 28.3, 58.2, and 1:26.4, but as the field turned for home Ingraham and Slave Dream fanned four wide to win it all by two lengths over Farmer Jones and Baseball Express finishing third.

It was the second win of the season in five starts for the four-year-old Pearsall Hanover gelding pushing his earning over $140,000. Slave Dream is trained by Jean Beaulieu and owned by Franco Cianci, Isidoro Russo and Vincenzo Monticciolo.
