Crossfit Mouse Digs In, Earns Life Mark

Ontario Sires Stakes program alumnus Crossfit Mouse pocketed Mind Yown Business at the quarter, then dug in to hold him off late and capture Wednesday’s (March 24) feature at The Meadows, a $9,400 conditioned trot.

Even when Crossfit Mouse threw down a :27.4 third quarter, he couldn’t shake Mind Yown Business, who moved outside for the stretch drive. But Crossfit Mouse and Tony Hall were up to the challenge, edging Mind Yown Business by a head in 1:54.4, the fastest win of his career. DP Rocket finished third.

Dane Snyder trains the winner, a four-year-old Muscle Mass-Zumba Mouse gelding who extended his career bankroll to $127,492, for Linwood Higgins, Jason Ash, Danielle Snyder and Kristine Kash.

Dave Palone and Hall each collected four victories on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Thursday (March 25), when the 13-race program features an $8,204.40 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
