According to NBC's Columbus affiliate, the organizers of letohiovote.org have been subpoenaed.
Brunner wants to find out who is supplying $1.55 million in funding to the organization, which is pushing for a public referendum on the issue. The report states that the monies come from the Virginia-based corporation New Models, which does not disclose donors
The article states that a spokesman for letohiovote.org has said that campaign finance laws have been fully abided by and that any "fishing expedition" would certainly waste tax dollars and time.
