Though there has been no official word regarding changes in the Belleville, Ont. situation, the Trentonian has published an interesting article today surrounding Quinte West mayor John Williams
.
The report quotes Williams as saying that the city is interested in taking over the slots licences which Baymount Incorporated currently holds. Baymount plans on building the new Quinte Exhibition and Raceway.
“Right now our intention is to ask the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission if the city can take over the slot licence,” Williams said.
