Major League N won the $11,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace at Flamboro Downs on Thursday, Dec. 7.
After setting panels in :27.3, :57.2 and 1:26.1, Ed Hensley and the Ashleigh Hensley student continued home to win by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:54.4. In The Mood (J Harris) took second and So Frisky (Colin Kelly) rounded out the top three.
Ed & Ashleigh Hensley own the 10-year-old mare as she earned her ninth win of the season and 35th career tally. Major League N moved her career bankroll to $348,868 and returned $6 for the win.
Gerard Demers earned a training triple on the card after winning with three driven by Scott Coulter including Black Betty (1:58.3; $30.10), Sports Duchess (1:57.4; $2.10) and Timewaitsonnoone (1:58.1; $2.40).
