Moments Of Joy took the $25,000 Mares Open Handicap Pace at Dover Downs on Wednesday night (Dec. 4).
Moments Of Joy, driven by Victor Kirby for owner-trainer Bryan Truitt, left alertly and took the lead away from Delishka N nearing the quarter pole.
Moments of Joy cut fractions of :27, :55.4 and 1:23.4 before defeating 3-5 favourite Wisdom Tree (Tim Tetrick) by a neck in 1:51.4. Rockin The Boys A (Tony Morgan) finished third.
The five-year-old daughter of Western Terror earned her 16th career win.
