Perfect Chance Triples At The Meadows

Perfect Chance won her third straight race, holding off the late charge of Victory Is Coming to capture Wednesday’s $20,000 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Although up in class from the conditioned ranks, Perfect Chance shot right to the lead for Dave Palone and was on top at every pole — just as she was in the previous victories in her current streak — prevailing in 1:54.4. Victory Is Coming rallied from last but fell half a length short while the pocket-sitting Summertime Yankee finished third.

Ron Burke trains the five-year-old daughter of Andover Hall-Perfect Patty, who extended her career bankroll to $250,564, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

The Meadows closes out its 2012 live racing schedule with afternoon programs Thursday and Friday. First post each day is 12:55 p.m.
