World champion trotter Southwind Chrome has been retired and will commence stallion duty in 2022.
Walker Standardbreds is pleased to announce the addition of Southwind Chrome, 3, 1:54.4, 1:50.1 ($243,882) to its stallion roster for 2022. The son of Chapter Seven brings a tremendous resume to Illinois.
The talented and beautiful trotter collected 13 wins, seven seconds and four thirds in his 37 lifetime starts earning his World Championship at four at Lexington’s Red Mile. His dam, Counter Pointe by Striking Sahbra, from five foals, is the dam of five winners, three in 1:55, five in 2:00.
