Gerard Demers harnessed three horses for the Wednesday (Nov. 1) evening card at Flamboro Downs and all three returned as victors to the winner's circle.

Hello Rocky kicked off the training hat trick with Scott Coulter in the bike for Demers. The pair got away sixth in the $4,200 claiming pace and remained along the pylons through stations in :28.1 and :58.3. Coulter tipped out before the three-quarters in 1:28.1 to follow the cover of favoured Go Nine O (Travis Henry). Hello Rocky made his way into third in the final turn before overtaking the pacesetting Twin B Fearless and going on to win by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:58.4. Go Nine O took second and Always Been Crazy (Preston Shaw) took third.

Ronald Nobes and Craig Ellis co-own the five-year-old gelding, who notched his fourth seasonal tally and 12th career victory. Hello Rocky paid $6.10 to win as the 2-1 second choice.

Uncontrollable followed up in the next race, a $6,000 condition pace, with a gate-to-wire trip through panels in :28.1, :58.1 and 1:27.1. Travis Henry and Uncontrollable crossed the wire 3-3/4 lengths the best in 1:56. Bearcatwilly (Michael Horner) finished second and Mercenary (Samuel Fillion) rounded out the top three.

Steve Perreault and Johanne Dechamplain co-own the five-year-old winner of five races this season and 10 career races. Uncontrollable returned $2.40 to win as the favourite.

Coulter and Tactical Seelster completed the triad of triumphs for Demers with an upset victory in the claiming pace worth a $5,500 purse. Tactical Seelster got away third before the :27.4 opening panel and moved first over at the :57.3 half. By the three-quarters in 1:26.2, the Demers pupil took command. He continued in the lead until he crossed the wire three-quarters of a length in front in 1:55.4. Oh Coffee Bean (Henry) grabbed second and Abc (Austin Sorrie) completed the triactor.

Demers co-owns the three-year-old State Treasurer gelding, a seven-time winner, with Jean Roch Marois. Tactical Seelster paid $17.70 to win from 8-1 odds.
