George Teague Jr and K&R Racing's Its Above Me Now was a wire-to-wire winner in the $100,000 two-year-old Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund final for pacing colts and geldings Monday at Harrington Raceway.

The Southwind Lynx colt was a confident one-length winner after he assumed command early from his rail post position and never relented in the win over Johnny Badlands and Clear Mist.

Trained by Clyde Francis, it was Its Above Me Now’s ($4.60, Montrell Teague) third lifetime win, all of which have come in DSBF company after sweeping his eliminations.

In a $15,000 DSBF consolation event for male pacers, Brenda Teague's Hiro Knockout ($2.10, Montrell Teague) was a 1:56.2 winner over Badlands N Wine and Step On Over. The Southwind Lynx colt recorded his first career win for owner/trainer Brenda Teague. It was one of three winners driven by Teague on the card.

On the undercard, George Leager's Slick Tony ($6.60, Jason Lynch) notched his 10th win of the year with a 1:52.2 win in a $14,800 conditioned pace.

The Tuesday card will feature the $100,000 final for pacing fillies. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
