With Ben Baillargeon training and Mario Baillargeon driving, Soprano Hanover got the ball rolling with a maiden-breaking score in the opener. The rookie daughter of Muscles Yankee front-stepped her way to a 1:58 win for the Helping Hands Stables of Woodburn, IN.

Classy veteran Famous Mark did the road work in the fifth race, and he dug in late to score by a narrow margin in 1:54.4 to give the Baillargeons their second trip to the winner’s circle.

Slip Into Glide completed the hat trick for the Baillargeon’s when he rallied for a going away victory in the tenth race. The three-year-old son of Yankee Glide halted the teletimer in 1:55.

Mario Baillargeon, who earlier this season joined the 7,000-win club, currently sits sixth overall for wins among the leading reinsmen on the WEG circuit. Ben Baillargeon ranks fifth in the trainers’ standings on the WEG circuit this year.
