Im Feelin Good wore down the leader, Visible Gold, with a relentless first-over bid and captured his third straight in Wednesday’s $18,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.
Visible Gold cut out a moderate :58.4 first half but couldn't withstand the pressure from Im Feelin Good, who scored by three-quarters of a length in 1:54.4 and relegated Visible Gold to his fifth consecutive place finish. Dew N Doughnuts was third.
Tony Hall drove the seven-year-old Mr Feelgood-Im The Goto Girl gelding, who now boasts $517,772 in career earnings, for trainer Ashley Hall and owner Larry Fischer.
Hall piloted four winners and Mike Wilder three on the 15-race card.
