Streaking Meadows Pacer 'Feelin Good'

Im Feelin Good had captured three straight races with gritty first-over moves, but could he possibly use the same strategy to extend his streak to four?

Indeed he could, as his determined move for Tony Hall wore down the leader, Shooters Dream, and carried him to victory in Wednesday’s $20,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows. Dew N Doughnuts shot the Lightning Lane for second, a neck back, while Desperation rallied for show. Time for the mile was 1:53.3, including a snappy back half in :55.4.

Ashley Hall trains Im Feelin Good, a seven-year-old Mr Feelgood-Im The Goto Girl gelding, who extended his career bankroll to $527,772, for Larry Fischer.

Dan Rawlings piloted three winners on the 15-race card.
