Solid Support For Ownership Trade Show

The Horse Ownership Trade Show set for next week is officially 'oversubscribed' for industry participation.

All of the trade show spots have been reserved and in some cases, some of the groups are sharing booth space. The Raceway at Western Fair District and Standardbred Canada look forward to hosting a great educational show on Friday, May 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

In addition to The Raceway and Standardbred Canada, other participants include: the SBOA, COSA, OHHA (Wanna Drive program), Ontario Racing, Mac Lilley Farms, Anthony MacDonald (The Stable), Howard Pearce (Landmark Racing Stables), Tomiko Training Centre, trainers Kyle Reibeling, Heather Toll, Isaac Waxman, Natasha House, and Patrick Shepherd.

Attendees can also enter the contest to be a Horse Owner For A Night and take part in the Wanna Drive program.

“We are overwhelmed at the amount of industry participation that we have for the trade show,” said Greg Blanchard, Raceway Manager. “Now if we can translate that level of enthusiasm into attendance at the event, we’ll be extremely happy.

"Our goal is to get people outside the industry to attend and get as much information in their hands as we can. Hopefully some will follow through and get involved in ownership.”
