On Wednesday night (October 30), Pocono Downs hosted the Grey Ghost & Poltergeist Pace for all grey or roan horses on what is traditionally known as 'Mischief Night.'

A field of eight ghostly greys were led in post parade by outrider Gary Scott, dressed as the Headless Horseman.

Post-time favourite Gotta Love Him shot out of the gate with driver Matt Kakaley and never looked back.

The Cindy Weitoish-trained gelding set fractions of :26.1, :55.3 and 1:24 before prevailing in a photo finish with the late-charging Six Gun (driven by Joe Bongiorno).

The win time of 1:52.2 was a new lifetime mark for Gotta Love Him.

Express Jet, trained by Joe Pavia Jr. and driven by Ron Pierce, finished third, followed by Monticello-shipper Working Stiffs, who is trained by Robert Lounsbury and was driven by Aaron Byron.

Children of Pocono horseman presented the winning trophy.
