Connections Appeal Crown Eligibility

According to a release, the connections of Buck I St Pat have launched an appeal after their eight-year-old Jailhouse Jesse mare was declared ineligible to contest the $250,000 Breeders Crown Mare Trot

.

The Woodbine Entertainment Group release also states that the appeal will be heard during the morning of Thursday, October 20 at the Ontario Racing Commission office in Toronto.

Buck I St Pat, a multiple stakes winner that has banked in excess of $2.3 million in her career, is trained by Ron Burke for Howard Taylor, Edwin Gold, Abraham Basen and Ronald Fuller.

On October 2 at the Red Mile in Kentucky, Buck I St Pat made a break in the $83,700 Allerage Farm Open Mare Trot and was distanced. In her next charted line, which was recorded October 13 at Chester Racetrack, she made a break behind the gate and eventually trotted her mile in 2:00.1.

Excluding Buck I St Pat, the mares that were entered to contest the $250,000 Breeders Crown Mare Trot appear below alphabetically.

Post Positions Drawn For Two Breeders Crown Finals

No eliminations are required for the $600,000 Breeders Crown Two-Year-Old Filly Pace and the $500,000 Breeders Crown Open Pace, therefore all entries will advance automatically to their respective finals.

The draw for the October 29 finals took place Tuesday, October 18.
