Zeron Rolls A Six At Georgian Downs

Scott Zeron put on a driving clinic during the Tuesday evening program at Georgian Downs, as he won six times over the course of the 12-race card

.

Zeron, who leads all Canadian reinsmen and sits fifth among North American teamsters when it comes to winning races in 2010, powered away from the competition in Race 3 with Cactus Jack (1:53.3) to get the ball rolling in what turned out to be a profitable night at the office.

He then tacked on wins with Rose Run Leroy (2:00.2) in Race 4, Chanceofa Lifetime (1:54.2) in Race 5, Maple Leaf Quix (1:59) in Race 8, Bob Watts (1:55.3) in Race 9 and Ruthless Ace (1:54) in Race 11

The six-win effort lifted Zeron’s 2010 win total to 549, and it bumped his lifetime total to 979. He has nearly doubled last year’s output when it comes to purse earnings, and that has helped his overall total climb in excess of $7.6 million.
