Michigan Charges Imminent For Race Fixing
According to an article in The Windsor Star, criminal charges are pending in the state of Michigan for those involved in a race fixing scandal straddling both sides of the Canada-U.S. border

“Our investigation has advanced to the point where I would anticipate that we would be laying criminal charges shortly,” Rick Kalm, the executive director of the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB), was quoted as saying in the article. “We are preparing criminal charges right now. I would expect that to happen within a month.”
Race fixing is a felony in the state of Michigan.
