Alberta Issues Strangles Notice

Due to the significant number of horses east of Manitoba that have been exposed to strangles bacteria, Century Casinos must implement strict measures to protect the best interests of the entire racing community.

All horses coming into Alberta from anywhere east of Manitoba must have a negative test for strangles, and that test must be taken within six (6) calendar days of arrival.

All horsepeople intending to bring horses in must notify Century Racing Manager Joe Gray in advance of the horses arriving, and provide him proof of the negative test.
