OAS Sponsors Harness The Hope Contest

Details have been released in regard to the 'Best Dressed Horse Contest,' which is in support of the annual 'Harness The Hope' initiative and will run through Saturday, October 31.

OwnAStandardbred.com (OAS) along with trainer Scott McNiven were set to sponsor the Bouncy Pony race on 15th Annual Harness The Hope night, held last Friday at The Raceway at Western Fair. However ue to COVID restrictions, the entertaining race had to be cancelled. Kristy Dustin, organizer of Harness the Hope presented the group with an alternative event to sponsor: the Best Dressed Horse Contest.

The contest is open to all horses regardless of breed or discipline. To enter, simply dress your horse in pink and email your submission to [email protected]. The winning photo will be selected by the partners in OwnAStandardbred.com. The prize pack includes two sponsored jackets and a $100 Visa Gift Card. Photos submitted can be viewed at www.ownastandardbred.com

A Meet and Greet for the OAS 2021 stable was held this weekend at Twinbrook Farms, also a sponsor of Harness the Hope. This year's fractional ownership group was able to view two of the horses that have been added to their stable to date. OAS 2021 trainer Francis Dumouchel and Twin B Sunkissed participated in a Pink Photo. The OAS group looks forward to seeing others and their horses in a Pink Photo to bring awareness to Harness the Hope and a chance to win a great prize package.

In addition to the Best Dressed Horse contest, www.ownastandardbred.com will host an online Silent Auction at www.harnessthehope.com featuring over 150 items, including 7 stallion breedings is also open. The contest and Silent Auction run until Saturday (Oct. 31).
