Double A Mint stretched her streak in the $30,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Handicap to five wins with a foggy front-end effort in the Friday night feature at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Sent postward as the 2-5 choice with Bob McClure picking up the catch-drive, Double A Mint crossed to command from the outside post and was never seriously threatened as she led the field, which was scratched down to six distaffers, through panels of :28.3, :58 and 1:26.1 before stopping the clock in 1:53.1. The win was her seventh overall this year and 13th lifetime.

Double A Mint returned $2.80 to win. Outlaw Fireball finished 1-1/2 lengths behind in second and Just Her Luck came on for third.

The four-year-old Bettors Delight-Double Creme mare has hit the board in nine of her 10 starts this year for trainer Richard Moreau and owner Adriano Sorella of Guelph, Ont. The 2019 leading money-earner in North America has added $123,500 this year to her bankroll, which now stands at $465,231.

Double A Mint's victory kicked off a training triple on the 11-race card for Moreau.
