Dresden Shooting Victim Identified

Chatham-Kent police have officially announced the name of the horseman that was shot this past Saturday night (May 5) at Dresden Raceway.

According to multiple reports (here, here and here), police have publicly named Standardbred horsemen Dwayne McFadden as the individual that was shot at the raceway at roughly 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

Police also announced that McFadden, 58, underwent surgery for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at a London hospital. He has since been released.

McFadden is listed as the vice president of the 2017 Dresden Agricultural Society Board of Directors. The board operates live racing at Dresden Raceway.
