Monticello Fireworks Sunday, July 2

Monticello Raceway will host its annual fireworks show on Sunday, July 2 at 10 p.m.

For decades, the Monticello Raceway fireworks have been lighting up the sky and bringing smiles to many. The track’s executive director of racing and facilities, Shawn Wiles, noted that there is a slight departure from the norm, and that there will be no live racing that evening. Admission is free for the fireworks display.

Monticello Raceway will resume its normal live racing schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a 12:50 p.m. post time, with and day and evening simulcasting also available in the comfort of its state of the art simulcasting room.

The track’s first New York Sire Stakes event of the season will be held on July 11, when three-year-old filly trotters will take the stage.
