In spite of another outside post (it is starting early this year), all the partners and those concerned with Shadow Play, are waiting with anticipation for Friday's eliminations at Western Fair Raceway
.
A sharp training trip at Baycairn Training Center yesterday and a day in the paddock today (Monday), Shadow seems to be coming in to the race in good order, and with some of the names listed in the elims, he will have to be. It will only get tougher as the weeks move forward now, and hopefully it will get warmer too (very cold in Ontario on the weekend).
Blacksmith Jeff Boyd applied a fresh set of shoes today and I'll be back up for Friday.
