World Class Symposium Roster Unveiled

The list of speakers and participants slated to appear and discuss harness racing at the 2017 World Trotting Conference features some of the sport's most prominent individuals discussing a wide range of timely and important topics.

This year’s World Trotting Conference will take place in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. All day on August 16th, and during the morning of August 17th, the symposium portion of the event will feature content and top speakers from Canada, and around the world, to talk about the sport with the Symposium branded Investing in the Future.

The World Trotting Conference Symposium sessions will focus on four major subjects: Racing and Wagering, Breeding, Equine Welfare and Integrity, and Marketing.

Among those confirmed to attend and speak: Hall of Famer John Campbell, PEI native Anthony MacDonald, advertising and marketing expert Angel Suarez and a number of top harness racing executives from around the globe such as Jean Major (Canada), Ed Rennell (New Zealand), Andrew Kelly (Australia), Russell Williams (USA), Johan Lindberg (Sweden) and Guillaume Maupas (France).

This is your chance to visit PEI, engage in valuable and entertaining sessions about the industry, and meet delegates and participants from around the world. After the Symposium, you are encouraged to stay in beautiful PEI for the final leg of the World Driving Championship on Friday, August 18th, and the Gold Cup & Saucer on Saturday, August 19th.
