Payment Schedule:
Nomination Fee: $100 due July 19, 2021
Starting Fee: $100 leg $200 consolation/final
Conditions:

1. All events and race conditions will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission and Standardbred Canada.
2. Nominations due by Monday July 19 th , 2021. Those nominating horses to these events are responsible for eligibility.
3. Declarations close at the time and date posted on the weekly condition sheet.
4. All nomination will be added to the final.
5. All starting fees will be added to the legs of the event.
6. Nomination fee must accompany all nominations. Payment for nomination fees must be in Canadian funds only. All nominations are subject to Red Shores rules and policies at time of racing.
7. All races will be at a distance of one (1) mile unless otherwise stated.
8. All starting positions shall be drawn electronically using the electronic draw system provided by Standardbred Canada
9. Purse distribution:
a. 5 or more starters: 50 — 25 — 12 — 8 — 5%;
b. 4 starters: 50 — 25 — 15 —10%;
c. 3 starters: 60 — 30 — 10%;
d. 2 starters: 65 — 35%;
e. 1 starter: 100%.
10. Trot mares must be owned at time of nomination and declaration by a resident of the Atlantic Provinces and maintain ownership by a resident of the Atlantic Provinces while racing in the series.
11. If leased, both lessee and lessor must be residents of the Atlantic Provinces at time of nomination, declaration and competition in each component of the series.
12. To be eligible for the final, an entry must have competed in at least two (2) legs of the series.
13. The legs of $3,750 are based on eight (8) starters in one division, if more than ten (10) entries there would be two divisions and the purse would be $3,125 added per division.
14. Minimum of five (5) nominations required to fill this series.
15. If more than nine (9) entries are received for any leg, there will be two divisions.
16. The top eight (8) money earners from the legs will race in the final, the next top money earners (9 th up to 16 th ) will race in the consolation.
17. There must be a minimum of five (5) entries for the consolation. In the event there are fewer than (5) entries, Red Shores reserves the right to cancel the consolation.
18. In the event there is no consolation Red Shores reserves the right to have 9 starters in the final of the series.
19. In the event that there is a consolation, horses that earn enough money in the series to qualify for the finals cannot race in the consolation.
20. In the event of a tie, the entry will be selected by lot.
21. Red Shores reserves the right to refuse any nomination, return fees, rearrange programs and in the event that on the day of the scheduled race, the operation of races cannot be held for any reason whatsoever, they reserve the right to reschedule the race to an APHRC approved future race date or cancel it in which case all monies paid will be refunded.
22. Red Shores accepts no responsibility or liability for any accident, loss or damage, which may occur on their property as a result of these, or any races.
23. All owners, trainers, drivers must be members in good standing with the APHRC and Standardbred Canada.
24. All horses must meet the qualifying standards of Red Shores.
25. In the consolation or final, should there be horses with common ownership; Red Shores reserves the right to uncouple horses for pari-mutuel purposes as per APHRC Rule 206.
26. If there is more than one division of the preliminary legs or eliminations, each division will race for 100% of the advertised purse.
