The Toronto Sun has run a news item updating the statuses of the drivers the were involved in last night's accident at Woodbine Racetrack. The article states that drivers Mario Baillargeon and Robert Shepherd sustained broken limbs.
According to the article, Baillargeon was taken to Milton Hospital last night after the accident with a suspected broken ankle. He was diagnosed with a broken right leg at Milton Hospital and is now in a cast.
The report states that Shepherd broke two broken bones in his left leg.
Earlier today, Trot Insider reported that Roger Mayotte suffered a dislocated shoulder, a broken arm and possible fractured pelvis.
The Toronto Sun report explains that drivers Rick Zeron, Jody Jamieson, Sylvain Filion, Chris Christoforou and Jason Brewer suffered scrapes and bruises.
