On Wednesday, April 27 via release, the race office at Rideau Carleton Raceway announced that some changes have been made to the weekly condition sheet.
The release states that there have been a number changes, and that it would be beneficial for all area horsepeople to check out the condition sheet carefully.
The changes are that the earnings in all the 'last 3 starts' races which the race office writes have changed a little bit. There are now a '$1,000 last 3 starts,' a 'non-winners of $2,500 last 3 starts,' and a 'non-winners of $4,500 last 3 starts' on both the trot and pace.
The other changes apply to the $6,500 claiming races on the trot and 'H & G' pace, which has been split. One is a $6,500 claimer with non-winners of $1,000 last 3 starts, and the other is a $6,500 claimer with winners over $1,000 last 3 starts.
