John Campbell's Million-Dollar Moments: Doubling Up in 1994
North America Cup & Meadowlands Pace
"Going into the North America Cup we were a little bit concerned [off back-to-back second place finishes] that he wasn't quite as good as he'd been but he bounced back. He got a good trip in the final of the North America Cup and he won rather easily and then he just took off from that point until the first of September when physical issues just caught up to him.
"He started off the year early in the Berrys Creek in tremendous form right through until the first of September. He was the dominant three-year-old, and he could win almost anyway whether you raced him on the front, first over or off a trip he was just a professional to drive and one of the gamest horses I've ever raced."
