I'm looking forward to tonight, I'm still feeling calm about it all. Going over the program today and doing some relaxing. Just want to wish all the guys good luck, maybe wishing for a little luck myself.

Had breakfast with the kids this morning. Chilled out with my wife Tash for the rest of the day, getting focused for tonight. Landon, Rayah and Allie, they make my life.

Today is the big day, I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty nervous. Going on a quick tour of the Island today which should be fun and keep me from over thinking about the Drivers Challenge tonight. Hoping for some luck!

Went to the Drivers Meet and Greet last night and had a good time meeting everyone from the other regions. Afterwards, went out to Hunters Ale House and got harassed by Jody and Carl about not leaving with Up the Credit in the Gold Cup trial! Was back at the hotel half early and had a good night sleep. Got up, had some breakfast at the hotel and am spending the day with Danica and Ivy walking around Charlottetown. It’s nice having a break from the 30 horses at home for both of us! Starting to get really excited about tonight and just want to get in the bike. Hope some racing luck is on my side and can pull off a few wins and the points lead at the end of the 10th race!

PEI is the greatest place on Earth (in the summer)! The people at Red Shores’ Charlottetown do everything they can to make racing work. The reception was a lot of fun, they had mashed potatoes by themselves and lobster chunks to put on top, with sour cream et al. Unreal delicious! It didn’t end there though! Hunters Ale House again and then Victoria Row again. Good times with good people. Trying to get to the Lobster boat right on the French river, and then relaxing in the hotel. Then it’s on like donkey kong! NDC here we come!

Good morning everybody! I feel good this morning, it’s a beautiful day. Last night me and my family went to eat at McDonalds because they didn’t allow my daughter to eat at that restaurant because she was too young, so we left and got a good steak, two ounces at McDonalds. No comment! We had a lot of fun at the press conference and I met a really nice guy and I’m talking about Billy Davis Jr. I ask Billy to have a picture of him with his colours on because as the same colours as Serge Turene, who was a good friend to me and I did that for Serge’s father who worked with me for a couple years. He told me Billy is his favourite driver because he has the same colours as Serge, so Billy and I will take some pictures tonight and Billy will sign it. I’ll frame it and give it to Rheal and his lovely wife. That made my day. After that, we’ll visit around with the group and get ready for tonight. I can’t wait! Thank you to everyone and Standardbred Canada, I can’t wait for tonight.

The moment of truth is near. I would like to wish everyone the best of luck. Special thanks to Standardbred Canada for making this possible.

I’m just in love with PEI; the weather is amazing along with the food and hospitality. The fellas at Red Shores and Standardbred Canada went all out, what a great experience this is so far. We’re going on a bus tour of the Island today, going to chow on some more lobster and hopefully grab a pre-race nap before the event tonight.
