Breeders Crown Fantasy Pool Terms and Conditions
1. The Standardbred Canada (SC) Breeders Crown Fantasy Pool will be conducted from Monday, October 24, 2011 to Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 5:00 p.m., EST. No purchase is necessary. There is no cost to register. Contest is open to anyone who is 18 years or older as of the date of registration, is a Canadian resident and has Internet access at time of registration. The contest is void in whole where prohibited by law.
2. The contest winner will be three (3) people who have the highest winning point totals from their pool selections. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by blind draw.
3. In the event of a scratched horse after final changes are made, contestants will receive five (5) points for a scratch.
4. Winner will be contacted via e-mail at the e-mail address or phone provided on the form.
5. Submissions with incomplete, bogus or invalid names and/or e-mail addresses will not be accepted.
6. Only one entry will be accepted per individual and one per e-mail address. Multiple entries will be cause for immediate disqualification. SC reserves the right to disqualify any contestant which SC believes has submitted more than one entry.
7. Employees, Directors and immediate family who reside at the same residence, of Standardbred Canada, Woodbine Entertainment Group, Western Fair District and any provincial racing commission are not eligible for this contest. Anyone who has already qualified for the TROT Canada National Handicapping Championship is not eligible.
8. No faxed, mailed, electronically mailed, or phoned-in entries are allowed.
9. SC assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, ineligible or mutilated entries. SC is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable hardware or software or telephone transmission or technical failures, garbled or jumbled transmission or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of SC and will not be returned.
10. SC reserves the sole right to interpret all questions and conditions in regard to this contest.
11. Anything not covered in these rules will be ruled on by the management of SC and their decision will be final and binding.
12. Contestants, by entering the contest, agree to be bound by the above rules and regulations.
13. Contestants must be available to travel to Western Fair District to participate in the TROT Canada National Handicapping Championship on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Contestants must arrive no later than 12 noon.
14. Grand Prize is not redeemable for cash
PRIZE LIST: Three people will receive one (1) entry into the TROT Canada National Handicapping Championship scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Western Fair District. Winner is responsible for transportation to and from the Championship. Prize also includes 1 night accommodation at Hilton Hotel, London, Ontario. Prize is not transferable.
