The field for the $20,000 Xtreme Battle is now set and the posts are finalized with each of the $10,000 eliminations and the draw in the books.

Cameo Morley and driver Aaron Bryon posted a mild 6-1 upset in the first $10,000 Xtreme Battle elim for the boys, pacing the five-eighths mile distance in 1:12.1.

As favoured Bunny Talk (Mike Langdon) cut fractions of :29.2 and :58, Byron sat chilly in the pocket until the final turn and eventually powered past the pacesetter for the win. Bunny Talk stayed for second with Kennairn Sensation (Steve Byron) and St Lads Stealth (Anthony MacDonald) punching their tickets into the final with third and fourth placed finishes.

The second $10,000 elim for the girls was a gate-to-wire win for Mystic Factor and driver Tony Kerwood, holding off Ms Bbd (Aaron Byron) by a head in 1:12.1. Hit The Highway (Mike Langdon) and Beyond The Blue (Anthony MacDonald) finished third and fourth.
