Clements had Air McNair on top early, allowed Lethegoodtimesroll (Tony Kerwood) to clear before retaking, then withheld challenger after challenger with one lap to go to claim the lion's share of the purse in 3:16.3. Longshot Ikeepsecrets (Gerry Belanger) closed with a ferocious late kick but just ran out of real estate for second with Goliath Duruisseau (Aaron Byron) taking for third.
