Once considered a trotting master for producing the likes of divisional champions and millionaires Kadabra, Passionate Glide and Pampered Princess, Takter branched out into the pacing game in the 2000s and won the 2004 Shes A Great Lady and 2005 Fan Hanover with Cabrini Hanover, the Little Brown Jug in 2006 with Mr Feelgood, the 2007 Jugette with Good News Lady, 2008's Presidential, Isle of Capri and Graduate Series with Mr Feelgood and the 2009 Cane Pace with Vintage Master. Takter topped $3 million in earnings in each year of the decade.
