Over the coming weeks and months, the site will be updated to include biographies, multimedia, WTC Symposium agendas, and much more.
The World Driving Championship, hosted by Standardbred Canada, will take place across Canada from August 12 to August 18, with stops at Century Downs in Calgary, Alberta; Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ontario; Georgian Downs in Innisfil, Ontario; Hippodrome 3R in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, and the final leg at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park.
The World Trotting Conference will take place from August 14 to August 19 in Charlottetown, PEI for the International Trotting Association Delegation, with public registration available for the WTC Symposium scheduled for August 16 and August 17.
The conference coincides with the 250th Anniversary of horse racing in Canada, and Canada 150 celebrations (150 years since Confederation, which began in Charlottetown). It also marks the 25th edition of the World Trotting Conference.
The final leg of the WDC will be contested on August 18, and the Gold Cup and Saucer will go postward on August 19, both at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park.
