Eligibility:

For pacing foals of 2022 and 2023 to race as 2-year-old pacing colts and fillies in 2024 and 2025 that are foaled in the Atlantic Provinces. Separated into colt and filly divisions if sufficient entries are received.

**All owners of horses participating in the program must be a current member of the New Brunswick Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association Inc. ($20 per year) due when nomination or sustaining eligible horses to the program. Payable to NBSBOA Inc. 57 Highlandview rd, Moncton, NB, E1A 2L1.

Conditions:

1. All nominated and sustained must be Atlantic Foaled (NB, NS, NFLD, PEI).
2. Each event is to be contested at a distance of one mile (1609 m).

3. Purse distribution for five or more finishers is 50%, 25%, 12%, 8%, 5%. In the event of 4 starters,
50%, 25%, 15%, 10%. In the event of 3 starters 55%, 30% 15%. In the event of two starters, 65%, 35%.
4. All nominating, sustaining and starting fees shall be added to the purses with no deduction for clerical
or managerial work, advertising or publicity.
5. Horse Racing New Brunswick, within its sole discretion, may from time to time make changes to the
terms, conditions, and/or to the purse structure in particular added money, as well as nomination and
sustaining payments and starting fees and the nominator agrees to be bound by such changes. All
changes will be approved by APHRC and submitted to the industry for notification.
6. Should conditions beyond the control of HRNB prevent the racing of any event, HRNB reserves the
right to declare off any event and distribute the money to the current eligible horses, or to transfer the
event to another date, or to another track, or to do both.
7. In the event of weather forcing the cancellation of the race card, in accordance with APHRC rules, the
event will be conducted the following day or rescheduled to a date that is approved by APHRC.
8. Standardbred Canada and HRNB assume no responsibility for nominations or payments made by mail
which are not received. Sending payments by Registered Mail is recommended. All payments must be
post-marked no later than the said due date.
9. In the event that an explicit interpretation of these conditions might not be acceptable to all parties, the
Board of Directors of HRNB reserves the right to interpret these conditions in an implicit manner in
accordance with the goals and objectives of the organization as may be established and amended from
time to time. Changes will require APHRC approval and the industry will be notified.
10. HRNB is not liable and assumes no responsibility for loss by fire, theft or accident of or to persons,
animals, equipment or vehicles on the premises owned or leased or controlled by said Horse Racing
New Brunswick Inc or its successor. Use of grounds, track, or buildings thereon, owned, leased or
controlled by Horse Racing New Brunswick Inc or its successor shall be at the risk of the owners or
persons, and is assumed in full by any of them on their own behalf and/or behalf of their servants,
agents, or employees.
11. Colts/geldings and fillies will be separated by sex for this race in the event of sufficient entries.
12. Rules of Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission and Standardbred Canada will govern this
race.
Notice: Reference date for payments in these conditions are post-mark dates, if any of the described
dates fall on a weekend or holiday, post-mark can be no later than the next business day following.
Standardbred Canada will forward on your behalf all such fees received on behalf of this stake and a list
outlining each nominator, their current address, name of foal, sire, dam, age and colour.
