Officials at Mohawk Racetrack pulled the plug on Friday evening's card after Race 1 due to severe weather in the Campbellville, Ontario area.
The set of William Wellwood Memorial eliminations for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings - which were scheduled as Races 2 and 3 - will be carried over to Saturday evening. They will be held as non-wagering events beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Just want to say it was a good decision and I support it 100%. I had a horse running in the 6th but I think I can wait a week to see her run again. Safety first guys.
