Following a three-week break, live racing at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino will resume on Monday, October 3, with a card that features a pair of Keystone Classic stakes.
The Meadows will race three days per week — Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays — in October and will add Wednesday programs for November and December.
In addition, the track will offer a special Christmas-week card on Thursday, December 22. Each card will include a $5,000 total-pool guarantee for the Pick 4 wager (Races 4-7. First post for each remaining 2016 program is 1 p.m.
The October line-up features a rich menu of stakes races, with total purses estimated at more than $900,000. In addition to the re-opening day events, the stakes include:
