Officials with Yonkers Raceway have issued a reminder stating that Thursday night’s (September 17) Pick 5 wager will begin with a bit extra in the till, as in a carryover of $2,370.79.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager comprising Race 7 through Race 11 during every racing program. It has no consolation payoff, meaning if no one selects all five winners (as was the case Tuesday afternoon), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next program.
