Pappy Go Go has seen nothing but the winner's circle all season, and his five rivals will have their hooves full trying to change that this Thursday evening (September 14) at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park.

First-race post time for the 12-dash card is 6:30 p.m. The P.E.I. Colt Stakes for two and three-year-old trotters will be on tap, and Pappy Go Go will put his undefeated season on the line again in Race 4. The Marc Campbell-trained and driven trotter has drawn Post 2 in the $4,600 P.E.I. Colt Stakes three-year-old trot division for owner Grayland Farm of Pugwash, NS. No foe has gotten closer than two lengths to Pappy Go Go at the finish line this season from seven starts in 2017, but his chief rival will start with rail control in Thursday's event, as Wicked Nick will start from the pylons for trainer-driver Gary Chappell.

The other $4,600 three-year-old trotting splits will line up to contest Races 1 and 7. Oceanview Deb, who will ships in from Nova Scotia, has been tabbed as the morning line favorite for Race 1 for trainer-driver Henry Smallwood. Race 7 will see fellow Bluenoser Miss Neala Ridge as top choice for trainer-driver Clare MacDonald.

A pair of $6,200 P.E.I. Colt Stakes two-year-old trot divisions will take to the track for Races 3 and 8. Ticked (Race 3, Post 4) has not seen the winner's circle since August 15. He experienced troubles during his latest start which saw him make three breaks during the mile, although he recovered bravely from every miscue to still trot in 2:07.1. Myles Heffernan will drive the son of Armbro Barrister for trainer Gerald MacDougall and owner Jackie Heffernan of Summerville.

Buckaroo will start from Post 1 in Race 8 for trainer-driver Campbell and owners Larry and Kathy Chappell of Marshfield. It looks as though Buckaroo will face a serious challenge from the Gilles Barrieau-driven Windemeredontuworry from Post 6 in the field of eight.

Freddie (Campbell) is the early favorite for the $1,850 Open Trot (Race 10 Open trot. Race 11 is the Esther Mutch Memorial Pace, and Howmac Missy has received the nod as the top early choice with Campbell in the bike for trainer Earl Watts of Hampshire.
