The Gold Cup Ambassadors selected their horses and post positions for the 53rd Running of the Sobeys Gold Cup & Saucer on Saturday night at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
Eighteen, who captured Trial 3 on Monday evening, has drawn the coveted rail position for driver Tyler Moore and trainer Dr. Ian Moore. Stonebridge Terror, who took Trial 1 last Saturday for driver Anthony MacDonald and trainer Travis Umphrey, will start right behind the pole position sitter in Post 9. Hare Craft, who rallied to an impressive score in Trial 2 last Sunday afternoon for driver Aaron Byron Wayne Preszcator, will start from Post 7.
Post time for the card is 6:45 p.m. with the big race going to post at 11:58 p.m.
