Woodbine Mohawk Park will be the place to be this Saturday (August 4) to celebrate the Civic Holiday weekend.
The Milton, Ont. racetrack will be hosting a spectacular fireworks show following the completion of Saturday evening’s live racing.
Fans coming to the track Saturday will be able to enjoy exciting live racing, live music, a variety of food options and instant cash giveaways at the wagering terminals.
Kids can also sign up for ‘Drive With Us,’ which gives youngsters the opportunity to go on the track and experience a sulky ride behind a Standardbred racehorse. Families are encouraged to arrive early and visit the Guest Services desk to sign up for Drive With Us. Spots are limited and fill up at a first-come, first-serve basis.
A special post time of 7 p.m. has been set for Saturday’s card. The last race is scheduled to head to post at approximately 10 p.m.
Doors will open at 4 p.m. for racing fans to watch and wager on the final of the $1 million Hambletonian in the Trackside Bar. Full concessions and dining will open at 5:30 p.m.
Parking and admission is free for Saturday’s Civic Holiday Fireworks.
