McKhool To Entertain On Horseplay Day

Hey kids, get your dancin’ shoes on ‘cause the famous fiddling of Chris McKhool will grace the Hiawatha Horse Park on 'Horseplay Day,' Sunday, August 23 at Adrenaline

. This is your chance to sing, dance and even play along with an award winning, Juno-nominated musician!

McKhool has been entertaining children all across Canada for years, and has appeared on such television programs as Mr. Dressup, YTV’s Treehouse, TVO’s Crawlspace and the CBC. McKhool’s success not only rests upon his musical talent, but also the message that he asserts through his songs. His album, 'Earth Seas & Air' has been used to create awareness of environmental issues among children.

Such efforts have won McKhool the 2005 Green Toronto Award of Excellence and made him a finalist for the Environment Canada Action Award. McKhool has also used his influential position to promote Canada’s diversity. His album 'Celebrate! Holidays of a Global Village' includes songs about different holidays which are celebrated all across the planet.

As a result, he has performed in a number of countries such as England, Cuba, Guatemala and even Tibet! In Canada, McKhool has presented at the Toronto Harbourfront’s Cushion Concert Series, the Distillery Jazz Festival and the Toronto’s First Night at the Roger’s Centre.

Kids always have a blast at Chris McKhool’s shows because they are so interactive. Kids can get up on stage with Chris to play a number of different instruments from cow bells to bongos.

This is a performance that cannot be missed. Adrenaline gives you three opportunities to see Chris McKhool perform! At 1:15 p.m., the musician will play a private show at 'Willie Win’s Pizza Party' followed by two more shows outside.
