Hanover Raceway’s program of live racing for this Saturday (July 26) includes Ontario’s second-ever Monte / Racing Under Saddle race with pari-mutuel wagering.
Seven women from Canada and Norway will compete in Race 3 on the card. Among the competing trotters will be Radical Dreamer, a recent Monte winner at Clinton Raceway in 2:04.4. The five-year-old son of Majestic Son-Paidindreams is owned by trainer Ron O’Neill and Doug Millard, and will be ridden by Marit Valstad. He’s a career winner of $89,791 (sulky and Monte) with 12 career victories and a record of 3,1:58.4.

Hanover Raceway will also play host to ‘Wanna Drive?’ on Saturday evening. Fans will get a chance to drive a racehorse around the Hanover oval between races thanks to the Hands On Horses Program.
