Officials with Horse Racing New Brunswick and the Woodstock chapter of the NBSBOA (Woodstock Driving Club) would like to inform all Atlantic and Maine horsepeople that the card of racing scheduled for Friday, August 2 is steamrolling ahead.
The feature race of the card will see the return of the Kelti Burnett Memorial Pace, which will carry a purse of $6,500 that has been graciously sponsored by the McCain Family, Corey Ford and Horse Racing New Brunswick. Additionally, officials wish to thank Woodstock First Nations for sponsoring the Winners-Over Pace.
For the August 2 race card, officials from Woodstock will put forward a $50 per-horse ship-in fee.
It has been two years since live racing has occurred at the Woodstock oval and officials are making a serious push to get as many horsepeople there as possible. Come out and support it!
