Details have been announced for the 11th annual ‘Animal Welfare in Practice’ conference, which will take place on September 18 and 19 at the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre, Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Prince Edward Island.

The conference will tackle applied equine behaviour and will explore how horses learn, and how can we use that understanding to the mutual benefit of horses and those who work with them.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Gemma Pearson, Equine Behaviour Service, Dick Vet
