The Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ) and the Backstretch Community Assistance Program of New Jersey will award scholarships to qualified students currently enrolled in or plan to attend a two or four-year college or university.
Candidates must be either a son or daughter of a full-time participant in New Jersey harness racing and SBOANJ member, or are themselves a full-time participant. Only one candidate per household will be considered, and there is a lifetime cap of $10,000 per individual.
