The 2014 Atlantic Sires Stakes race season will get underway on Sunday afternoon at Truro Raceway.
The opening event of the season will see two 'A' divisions for the three-year-old pacing fillies each compete for the winner's share of the $9,720 purse. Two 'B' divisions will round out the afternoon race card.
Points accumulated in every Atlantic Sires Stakes 'A' division event go towards securing a position in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championship. This year's Atlantic Breeders Crown will be hosted by Red Shores Charlottetown Driving Park October 11 and 12.
First-race post time at Truro Raceway on Sunday is 1:30 p.m.
